Welcome! Northwest Furs is a group effort designed to bring together the Furry community of the Pacific Northwest. We're also a gathering place for Weres, Therians, Otherkin, and all manner of furry-friendly folk. With this site we hope you will make new friends and find new ways of communicating with those you already have. The primary goal of Northwest Furs is to provide a central online resource for the community to interact and schedule events. Here you can find local events, meets, convention information, and more.

We do not seek to replace or detract from any existing meets or groups. Quite the contrary; we welcome the opportunity to promote all Furry groups and events in the area, and to connect the Northwest fur with their community. We encourage you to start your own meet or event and share it with the rest of the group. The idea is that there's always something going on! Any fur can organize a meet and have it posted here, as well as collaborate with other furs in our forums. You can also find local events of relevant interest on our site, and follow upcoming events on our Twitter or RSS feed. While our organizers reside primarily in the Seattle area, we're looking forward to welcoming furries from all parts of Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, British Columbia, Northern California and all over the world!
